La ceinture obi est une ceinture à nouer qui vient du japon et
qui à l’origine servait à maintenir en place le kimono.
Toutefois, elle est devenue ces dernières années, un
accessoire de mode indispensable dans une garde-robe.
Mon premier contact avec cette ceinture s’est fait il y a
presque 9 ans et je l’ai adorée car elle est peut être portée avec presque
tout : robe, veste, tunique, blouse,
jupe ou pantalon, pour ajouter une touche d’élégance.
Je n’avais jamais pensé à la commercialiser jusqu’à ce
qu’une maman de la garderie fréquentée par ma fille me demande de lui faire une
ceinture…Dans le but d’ajouter une touche personnelle à sa commande, j’en ai
confectionnée une réversible avec un côté uni et l'autre en wax.
Depuis, je la propose déclinée sous différents motifs et
l’avantage est qu’elle convient à toutes les formes: que l’on soit mince, ronde
ou enceinte, on peut la porter.
Elle peut être portée sur la taille, la hanche, sous la poitrine
ou sous le ventre pour la femme enceinte.

The obi
belt is a belt to tie that comes from Japan, where it was originally used to maintain
the kimono.
However, it
has become in recent years an essential fashion accessory in a wardrobe.
My first
contact with this belt occurred about 9 years ago and I loved it, because it
can be worn with almost anything: dress, jacket, coat, blouse, skirt or pants, to
add a touch of elegance.
I had never
thought of putting it on the market until a mom from the daycare attended by my
daughter asked me to create a belt for her ... In order to add a personal touch
to her item I crafted a reversible one with a plain side and the other side in
wax.
Since then,
I've been declining it in different patterns and the advantage is that it fits all
shapes: thin, round or pregnant.
It can be
worn on the waist, hip, under the breast or under the belly for pregnant women
